Clean Books Make Healthier Kids

Help me give my students clean library books to keep them safe and healthy. Library books get really dirty, simply because kids do! We could use sanitizer before checking books out and wipe books as they come back.

My Project

I love my students because they're fun, energetic, and playful! But boy do they come to me with dirty hands, snotty noses, and therefore dirty library books. If we can get in the habit of cleaning and sanitizing hands as they come in to choose books, it will keep kids healthier (and make books last longer, too!). We also would like to have sanitizing wipes to clean the books that come back dirty.

My students do great with book care lessons and try really hard to take care of our library books, but dirty hands are a normal kid thing.

With these supplies, we can not only talk about book care but exemplify and reinforce it. Action speaks to our students!
