This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Good morning and happy almost end of school year! With only seven weeks remaining in the current school year, I am looking ahead to the 24-25 School year and one thing we currently are in DIRE need of is cleaning supplies. I have already exhausted the $250 that I get from my school system for this school year, and next school year I plan on utilizing it to buy basic school supplies (IE Glue, Pencils, Pens, and Highlighters.) As such I will be needing the following supplies to keep all of my students safe and healthy.

This school year, my students have been plagued by vastly different illnesses such as COVID, Chicken Pox, and even Measles.

As such I am requesting the following supplies for the upcoming school year to better assist my students chances of NOT catching something and missing vital school due to something as simple as a cold or something as contagious as the measles.

These supplies will be utilized to not only protect myself and my students from illness but they will also be used each period to encourage and teach my students to keep a clean and inhabitable classroom environment. My students are 98% low income and over half of them are migrant students, as such I cannot and will not ask them or their parents to provide these basic supplies.
