This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are outgoing, passionate, and so excited to learn each year!
My students truly love seeing growth everyday, and become more inspired to try harder and be better with every new skill learned.
They are surprised when they are successful and I work really hard to provide opportunities for them to grow in all areas at all times.
Our school is a Title I school, and we currently have 100% of our students receiving free or reduced-price lunch. It is difficult for most of our students to provide money for materials for class, and even more difficult for us to ask them to bring money for anything extra.
My Project
Having supplies for the classroom is important every single day. Teachers at my campus don't usually mind coming out of pocket a little to support our students with supplies, because our students are worth it!
It would completely make our month to have additional supplies in the classroom leading to practice our skills for the end of the year.
We would have a clean space to work when we wipe down our tables with the Lysol wipes, we would have clean hands at lunch and when we come back from the bathroom from the hand sanitizer, and we would have plenty of dry erase markers to practice our skills on white boards.
