My Students

My students are awesome and motivated learners. They enter my Health, Fitness, and Nutrition classroom every day with smiles on their faces. They come from very diverse backgrounds, which makes our learning environment very special. They are polite and kind to each other. We are a rural school in South Carolina with a high poverty rate.

My students are very energetic and do not let their circumstances hinder their learning.

They are excited about learning and are very willing to get the job done.

My Project

My classroom serves 600 students each week. We have lots of messes. We need to get supplies to keep a healthy and clean classroom so that we can keep down clutter and sickness.

The Whalen cart will keep clutter off the floor and be a storage area for Kleenex and cleaning supplies.

This will keep kids from having to step over items on the floor and give them a place to go and get classroom supplies.

With 600 students every week and the dangers of flu and colds for kids this project will help me keep it to a minimum in my classroom.
