Help me give my students cleaning and organizing supplies. We need a vacuum, paper organizer, wipes, and file folders to maintain a clean and organized learning environment.
Cleanliness is one of the basic parts of school, but often overlooked! We have two custodians that do an amazing job but often, after hands-on activities, we need to give our classroom more attention . My students are eager to help clean up the classroom! My students come from low economic background, so asking for supplies is difficult for students' families.
My students come to school eager and excited to learn.
I teach nineteen first graders, all with different needs. As an educator it is my job to provide the best education for each student no matter his or her circumstances. Which includes a clean and organized space. My school's students come from a variety of background with over 85% coming from a very low-income community and receive free or reduced lunch. My students face many challenges and I would like to decrease these challenges as much as possible.
My Project
Our classroom is in need of daily cleaning and organizing supplies. We have amazing custodians that clean our classrooms daily. Vacuuming and wiping down desks are needed more frequently than what our custodians are available for. The students in my classroom take pride in maintaining a clean space and have job to help with this. We are in need of supplies to help with maintain a clean organized space.
