Help me give my students headphones, pencils, cleaning supplies, and lights for a clean and pleasant learning environment that will spruce up our classroom!
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are passionate, driven, and creative! Currently, my students live in the Oakland, California, region, and they aim to excel as mathematicians, readers, writers, and speakers. Their families come from all over the world: Yemen, Mexico, Cambodia, Guatemala, Vietnam, Thailand, China, and more! They deserve the best possible resources to push their education further.
My Project
These items will create a pleasant environment in our classroom in many ways. The vacuum and broom and dustpan will keep our floor clean during this Omicron surge so that our students can stay safe while they sit on the carpet to learn. The headphones will allow each child to have their own set of headphones so that they don't have to share headphones which can spread germs around the room. Our class has been running through pencils very quickly, and we would appreciate having a consistent supply of them! Students have been wanting string lights in our classroom for a while because they help create a positive atmosphere. All of these materials would contribute to creating a wonderful classroom for these fifth graders! Thank you!
