This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Staying clean is crucial to staying healthy. I worry about the health of my students as they sit on our carpet because the district has not cleaned or replaced our carpet in more than 10 years. They sit to learn, but get up dusty. Please help my students stay healthy and ready to learn. Thanks!

We are a low socioeconomic school.

Our parents often are stay at home moms and do their best to keep their children healthy. But, our school's attendance is at a record low due to illness and infections. I feel that we play a great part in keeping our students healthy. A clean carpet would keep the students from leaving the school sick or getting any infections that have been left on our carpet from past years.

My Project

Students will make academic progress due to their improved attendance. But in order to improve their attendance they need to stay healthy. Hence, to stay healthy they need a clean learning environment. Please help our class stay healthy and learn by providing us with a clean and new carpet to sit and learn.

My project is of great importance because as we all know we need to meet out basic needs in order to learn.

Health is of upmost importance for academic achievement and growth. Please help!!
