Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
As the days have been getting colder, more students have been arriving at the library cold and hungry. I would like to provide these students with something nutritious that will help them get ready to do and feel their best.
In this project, I have requested a variety of protein-filled snacks, such as fruit snacks and chips for students in need.
I have also requested tissues and cleaning wipes that will be used to keep our library clean and germ-free. Every student needs to have what they need to be successful at school and food insecurity should never be an issue to hold a child back.
