This year I have a mixed ability group. I have students who have grasped reading skills at a faster rate than others and some who need a little more time. They are eager to learn. We are also a high diversity of cultural and ethnic backgrounds.

My Project
This project will help provide students in my classroom with snacks that they don’t have. Within my classroom, there are several students that come to school that are not prepared to learn. Many students rely on the school to provide them with meals and a safe place to be. The Clorox wipes will also help to keep the germs away.
If you are hungry you can not concentrate on learning.
The snacks are simple but filling. I am also asking for wipes to keep us clean. When a child feels dirty they are embarrassed and don't want to come to school. These simple wipes will change this feeling.
