Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I teach small groups of students how to read and write. Due to the nature of this role, students are constantly rotating in and out of the classroom. Between myself and my partner teacher, we will work with over 150 students throughout the year, that's a whole lot of learning and SHARING.

Of the various items being shared one less desirable, but seemingly unavoidable, thing we share is the germs!

Help provide my students some protection by ensuring that we have supplies to keep our space clean and germ free. By providing a germ free environment, we can help our students avoid getting sick, missing school, and falling further behind in learning. The students that I service are typically coming from underprivileged homes. This is why I would love to be able to offer them a snack to help meet a basic need, so that they can focus on being kids and learning.
