Our class uses our white board to project videos in class, do math problems in our daily lesson, and to explain key components in our reading and writing. Everyday we come to the carpet in small groups to learn and daily we are faced with white board markers that are worn out and barely show up, boards that are stained, and students that cannot see due to the placement of the whiteboard and its inability to be portable. Due to these challenges my students have a hard time focusing on the important stuff, the learning opportunity. By donating to our project, you will be helping us to improve and increase our students' attention and focus and you will ultimately help increase each students' academic achievement. I have seen our students thrive in academics when they can connect to the learning. With these interactive white boards students will be able to use them to work out problems directly on the problems projected, move things, draw out examples, and manipulate them on the projector. Our students can go back to look at previous examples that have been saved, and erase quick and easily ensuring they do not fear making a mistake in the front of the class. Through this project I hope that our students' confidence and public speaking skills excel as they show what they know to the class!
