This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
Our school is in a low-income district. We provide public preschool, our children are deemed at-risk, and some have special needs. I love my children's enthusiasm and drive for learning. My children are special because they are unique and they all have their own special talents and gifts. My children are full of questions and eager to please.
They are creative, thoughtful, and full of energy.
Our Pre-K's goal is to reach and teach every child while identifying children's with special needs and beginning early intervention services. In Pre-K, we are preparing our children for Kindergarten.
My Project
The washer and dryer will help to provide our students with clean clothes when they have accidents at school. Our families are from low-income environments and some do not have washers and dryers at home.
Our students learn best when they are clean and dry.
It will not just benefit our students, but the whole school. Students will be ready to learn when they have clean dry clothes. The washer and dryer will be available for any staff member to use for their students.
The washer and dryer will be beneficial to the whole school and not just my classroom.
