My Project
My wiggly 3rd graders love to get away from their desks and gather on the floor to read together everyday. However, our floors are cold, hard tile and classroom rugs are impossible to keep clean and disinfected. I'd like to ditch the dirty rug and try floor cushions this year. The wipeable surface will allow me to keep them clean with the lysol wipes. Additionally, cushions will allow my students with behavioral and sensory difficulties to create more space for themselves, while still being part of the group, unlike a classroom rug. I teach at a Title I (low income) inner city schools with very limited funds. I received no donations from parents as far as cleaning supplies last year, so I purchased items like bleach wipes out of pocket. Your donation will be greatly appreciated by myself and my sweet students.
