My Students
Currently, I teach first grade at a low income, high needs elementary school in Charlotte, North Carolina. Our school values are learning, family, and fun.
Every day my goal is to embody those values and bring them to life in my classroom whether we be in-person or virtual!
I want my students to have quality learning experience no matter what other obstacles we may encounter. I truly love teaching and I am forever grateful for donors like YOU!
My Project
My project is asking for a HEPA certified air purifier to prepare for the arrival of my students in January. This way we will consistently breathe in clean air in the middle of a pandemic within our classroom walls. I am requesting an extension cord that will tackle my current situation of plugging in three extension cords to use my monitor. The cord covers to safely hide these cords from students, myself, or other teachers while walking around the classroom. I am also requesting command strips to hang learning material on my walls, because even though there is a pandemic we are still trying our best and learning.
