This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Our music classroom is a haven for fun, entertaining learning for all of our students in kindergarten through fifth grade, located in Atlanta, GA. The majority of our students come from low-income, immigrant families. They have very little, including lacking enough food to feed their families. However, every student at our school brings with them a special light.

Through music, we provide an outlet for students to express themselves as they are.

We provide a space where students feel safe to have fun and show their true personalities.

My Project

We are transitioning to hybrid learning and students will be in the classroom by the beginning of March. Helping support the health and well-being of our students is the utmost priority for every teacher at our school. These unprecedented times call for unconventional resources.

The air purifers will add an extra layer of protection for students and teachers as they go through their day during a pandemic.

This peace of mind will ensure that learning can be a priority, while keeping everyone healthy and happy. We would greatly appreciate your help getting these air purifiers.
