My Project
My students need clean air in the classroom while they learn. My classroom is over 50 years old and has over 25 students. There is no air filtration system or ventilation. The only thing that cleans our classroom’s air is the open windows. With winter coming and the rainy season, open windows is not an option. Having an air purifier in our classroom means less spread of germs and other antigens that cause students to get sick. This means more students miss less school.
Clean air means that students are in school more, which in turns means they are learning more.
I had students miss over 50 days each last year due to illnesses. With recent spikes in colds, Norovirus and the flu season approaching us, the air purifier is a necessity. This helps the whole class healthy including myself. Please help my math students have clean air!
