Help me give my students fresh supplies for the beginning of our school year. These supplies include pencils, crayons, dry erase markers and erasers, beads, popsicle sticks, yarn, tape, white-out, ABC games, laminate pouches, velcro dots, and watercolors!
Each day my students come to school excited to learn! My school is located in Cleveland, Ohio in an urban, high-poverty, area. My classroom students are four and five years old. I am the TESOL teacher, so English is my students' second language and many of them have not been in the country for long.
Because it is their first year of school, I strive my hardest to provide them with an education that engages and excites them each day.
My Project
My school is in Cleveland, Ohio. Because my students all qualify for free lunch, we don't expect parents to donate everything on the school supply list. Your donation will help my class thrive in the beginning of the year by allowing us to get new pencils, crayons, paint, markers, glue, beads, and other craft supplies! Pre-K is a fun time where students can express themselves creatively! Your donation will allow my students to have access to the school supplies/resources that they deserve to have.
Donations to this project will provide my students the opportunity to use resources that they don't have access to elsewhere.
They will be able to learn at a young age how generous other people are. In turn, they will learn to give to others.
