This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Help give my students the clay and glaze needed for an experience of being a part of something big!

We are creating a unique clay tile mural for our school.

Each student is designing a personal clay tile showcasing their individuality. Together, the students tiles will create the Reading “R” logo as “We Are One Reading”.

As a bonus this large scale collaboration also acts as a visual time capsule displaying the interests, hobbies, and popular culture of our students lives today. They are excited to be a permanent part of our school environment and to bring family and friends in to see what they created.
