Help me give my students the materials needed to create works of art using clay. It is a project they look forward to each year.

My Students
Create, experiment, express, and explore. These are activities my students are interested in when they walk into my classroom. My students are on a quest to find themselves and their place in this world. These desires are brought to my classroom- the art room. In a normal school day, students have limited time to be creative. My students need to be creative- their soul yearns for it.
My students are eager and passionate to create an expression of themselves.
They love to explore new materials and ideas. Their dedication continues to impress and excite me each day. My students are amazing young people. I am honored to be their teacher.
My Project
Students will use the clay and glaze to create original monster sculptures. Students will design their clay monsters and write poetry giving them unique personalities and an adventurous personal story.
Through this project, students see their imaginations come to life.
It is amazing to watch students build their ideas with their hands. This has become a yearly favorite for eighth grade students. Students start the first day of school asking if they will get to make their own clay monster now that they are in 8th grade. It is a unique experience for students. I am blessed to be able to provide this experience with the help of supporters.
