This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I’m excited to start a Ceramics Club at our school because I love how creative, curious, and hardworking my students are. Many of them are eager to explore new ways to express themselves, and working with clay gives them a hands-on, tactile way to develop their artistic skills and patience.

Having quality pottery supplies for my students—like clay, sculpting tools, and a pottery wheel—will help them learn essential skills in ceramics, encourage creativity, and promote focus and mindfulness.

This club will be a safe, inspiring space where students can discover the joy of creating art from scratch, build confidence, and even explore potential future careers in art and design. Your support will make a meaningful difference in bringing this creative opportunity to life for my students!
