My Project

Starting off the year, I hoped to learn what the students most wanted to create in class this year rather than plan a trimester around my previous teaching experience alone.

When they were asked what they most wanted to do in art class, they resoundingly said “Clay!” So far this year we’ve completed two ceramics projects and the students want more!

Unfortunately our budget didn’t leave much room for glazes and the amount of clay we need, so I’m hoping we can find some support in the community to fund the next two semesters of clay projects. We’ve run off of donations so far, and with your help we can continue to create engaging and exciting projects.
