This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
As we begin the new year we are committed to providing every student with the tools and resources they need to have a successful rest of year. We are requesting supplies to finish the year strong. Our students have been working very hard across all subjects and we need some help to continue making a difference in their learning. One of the essential items we are requesting is computer ink as most of the students work gets printed in the classroom from morning work to weekly assignments. It plays a critical role in supporting effective teaching and learning in our classrooms.
These printed materials are essentially vital for students who may not have consistent access to digital resources at home.
My co-teacher and I like plan our lessons and have all materials ready to go on a weekly basis. Sometimes, things don't go as planned and we would like to have printed resources available. With your support the supplies that we receive will enable us to print essential learning materials, enhance engagement through visual aids and provide personalized feedback to students. We are also requesting markers and pencils to support daily student learning.
Our students come from diverse cultural, economic, or social backgrounds, bringing different perspectives and creativity to the classroom. Our students are always eager and motivated to learn they just need the right resources to strive.
