Help me give my students personalized items in the classroom.. The Cricut will help me provide the students with personalization and help their ideas come to life. Visuals are so important to my students.

My Students

My special education students attend school in the smallest city in the smallest state. Our district is in the smallest city in the smallest state. Central Falls is 1.1 square mile. There are many people in this little city.My students attend school in a low income, high poverty city, where they have overcome more challenges by the time they enter fifth grade than most students. I work daily with these students to create a learning environment that takes them away from their day to day struggles and submerges them into a world of so many possibilities and experiences. I love to incorporate new meaningful experiences into our classroom.

These students deserve a space that is comfortable and that they can call their own.

My Project

The Cricut and supplies will help me provide personalization for the students in my classroom. It also will provide visuals and pictures for my students with learning disabilities. It will help create ownership in our classroom.

My students need a warm, inviting classroom.

For some students, this is the only safe place in their lives. These students deserve a welcoming place that they can call their own.

While building a positive climate and culture it is important for students to feel like they are apart of our school community. I hope to use these materials to create personalized items for students within my school.
