This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Update our classroom! Our classroom wasn't a classroom, so when I came in I got a room with four walls and that was it.
We are a very high poverty area.
All my students are bilingual learners that need the visuals to help them learn a new language (English). When I teach them I notice that they look around for the answer, and it would be nice for there to be something on the walls to help them out, and to keep them interested.
My Project
I know that visuals will make a great difference for there ESL. With the calender wall being so colorful it would attract them and keep them interested in what they need to learn every morning of every day. The word walls will help keep the words that they are learning in plain view while they learn every subject.
I feel that this donation will make a huge difference on the way the students learn.
Having visuals is a huge part of children that can't read the English language, they atleast can see it and remember.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
