My Students

My first grade students are bright and eager to learn. Our school is an academic magnet for children in PreK - 5th grade. The goal is to challenge and engage students so that they are fully prepared for the future. The students that enroll here are highly motivated and go above and beyond to do their best.

We believe in working together to create a classroom learning community where students learn academic content, but also the necessary social, emotional, and technological skills to excel in today's society.

I believe in providing students with a well-rounded education and our unique setup allows us to do just that.

My Project

My students need a comfy meeting place to gather and learn! Our current classroom rug is old and stained. I am looking to replace it with a clean, cushioned one that is big enough for everyone to sit while we are having our whole-group lessons.

Our newly improved meeting place will be located directly in front of our Promethean Board and help to keep students engaged in lessons while on the carpet.

My students will also use these new supplies to sit on the floor and work individually, with partners, and in small groups. They will love our new rug!
