Sims middle school services the majority of students grades sixth through eight in Union County. Union County is a rural area with minimal manufacturing and economic development. Most of my students live at or below the poverty level and many come from broken homes. Several have IEP's and 504's. In order to help these students succeed, teachers need the necessary supplies.
My students enjoy completing projects and hands-on activities, but most can't afford the needed supplies.
The students have the desire to learn, but lack the funding to buy ma Please help me to help these students become interested in STEM! Thank you
My Project
These supplies will help my students who can't afford the basic materials needed for them to succeed this year. I do a lot of projects throughout the school because most of my students are not good test-takers. Allowing them to do projects helps them to apply the knowledge that they gain throughout the year.
The more supplies that the students have available to them, will help them to create wonderful and meaningful projects.
Every year we do poster projects. Some of my students can't afford the materials they need to complete the projects. Please help me to supply those materials.
