Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Providing snacks and cleaning supplies in the classroom supports both the health and academic success of students. Nutritious snacks help students stay focused, energized, and ready to learn—especially those who may come to school without having eaten. Hunger is a barrier to concentration and engagement, and having snacks readily available ensures every child has the fuel they need to succeed.
Likewise, classroom cleanliness is critical for maintaining a safe and welcoming learning environment.
Cleaning supplies help prevent the spread of germs, reduce absences due to illness, and teach students responsibility and care for shared spaces. Together, snacks and cleaning materials are essential tools for fostering a healthy, respectful, and productive classroom community.
