This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Schools are sorely underfunded and students and teachers are suffering! I work at a Title 1 school and it is very difficult to get basic supplies for the students and the classroom. These basic supplies will help the students in their learning and reduce the out-of-pocket spending for the classroom teacher.

Students will use these supplies for both academic work and artistic expression.

In addition, these supplies will aid in teaching the students organizational skills as well teach them to be responsible for the materials they are working with and have been given to them.
