This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Whiteboard markers are like gold at our school. Every teacher is in need to them and when a new shipment comes in they are almost always picked up right away. Having personal whiteboards and markers help with engagement in the classroom and make learning just a little more exciting. Having a stapler that works is key to teacher success. I have been teaching long enough that all of my staplers are all broken.

Listening is key to communicating in another language.

Yet it is one of the hardest parts of learning. Having headphones in my classroom would allow me to have the students listen to a story and check their comprehension just by listening. This part is so helpful for helping students succeed in a language. With these materials, I know my students would excel and be excited about learning English.

Although this may not be the most exciting project on DonorsChoose, every single item on this list will get used every day by my students and every item will help make the learning environment the most efficient for my students.
