This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
My lovely fourth graders need basic supplies for success when using their whiteboards as well as pens to make their published writing the best it can be!
My students are highly motivated, intelligent boys and girls at a Title I Achievement school in California.
The budget cuts this year have made it very difficult to have the appropriate amount of classroom supplies to teach in the same manner we have in the past.
My Project
My students whiteboard markers have all run dry which has made it hard to work with 32 students and check for success on whole class lessons. The white board markers will allow them to use their whiteboards (which is so fun and creates a lot of buy in) to solve problems and show answers during my whole class lessons.
This project will make a huge difference in the lives of my students who have been resorting back to pencil and paper for whole class lessons due to a supply shortage.
The whiteboards excite the students during our whole class lessons and can be used ass a great management tool for myself.
