My students need storage shelves, flexible seating options, testing dividers, and pencils to help them stay focused, organized, and prepared.
This project expired on September 17, 2018.
Hooray! This project is fully funded
The students I teach come from different economic backgrounds. My students are able to overcome different obstacles to further their learning each day. They are able to put aside the struggles of home and apply themselves daily.
Their spirit and willingness to give 100% effort into their assignments is astounding.
Although my students have difficulties at times, they are able to persevere and strive to reach their potential. My students encourage each other and help each other become better people.
The students in my class come from diverse backgrounds with different resources at home available to them. Students in my school thrive in consistently structured environments. I am asking for shelf organizers so the children can properly store their group materials. We will use the organizers daily as they will be in the center of a group of desks. All of the students would have access to them to retrieve the items they need for various assignments.
The students in my class love to learn and challenge themselves.
You wouldn't believe the numbers of books they read in a week. I am asking for book bins so they will have an organized space to find their next piece of literature. The book bins will be used to help the students keep organized and easily find a book.
In third grade, the students face many assessments. They need to focus and do their best. I am requesting study carrels (testing dividers), to give them the privacy they need to reach their potential. The testing dividers will be used to keep easily distracted students focused and to help with privacy.
Children benefit when they are given choices. I am requesting a reading bench and stools to give the children a choice of different seating options for reading and classwork. The students will use the reading bench to relax as they read. The students will use the stools as an alternative to chairs. We will also use the stools for small group sessions.
So many of my students come to school with little or no school supplies. Many of students ask for a pencil to take home with them to complete homework. I am requesting durable pencils so the children won't have to worry about being prepared.
