Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Students will be using these supplies kits/ boxes on a daily basis to complete classwork and assignments. Most students cannot afford simple supplies such as pencils, glue, scissors, markers, or easers. Having a class set of supplies boxes with all the supplies in it will help not only those students who do not have funds to buy their own, but also students who loose their supplies. Having a class set of supplies kits will help students be prepared for class. My goal is for students to not have to worry about supplies or money, but worry about doing there best academically. My students are special to me because I went to school at Bill E Young Jr. middle school and sat in the same seats they now sit in. I know the financial struggles they go through as I had made many friends with those students in my youth.
