My Project

My 6th-grade scientists come into school at the start of the year excited and nervous about the transition to middle school. My school serves primarily low-income students who cannot reliably provide their school supplies. While our school gets donations to support, I often have to purchase supplies for students to supplement their needs.

These supplies will stock my classroom for the next school year with essential supplies for students and the success of our whole room.

The folders are used for our interactive science books, and students will be using them all year to organize their information. The glue sticks, pencils, crayons, colored pencils, and expo markers are frequently used class supplies that we often run out of, and the putty will be used to hang up vocabulary posters and student work around the room!
