This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our students are enthusiastic and creative. They love to work on projects in class, really enjoy creating and sharing their ideas with one another, and coming up with a variety of ways to present their projects in class. Having the bright colors to work with motivates them and encourages creativity. It also provides them with more choice and they enjoy taking creative risks more because they know that if they make mistakes they can start over and not worry about supplies running out or not having different options to choose from.
When we don’t have enough supplies or a variety of options, students feel limited and are not as motivated to think outside the box.
Using colors also helps to organize their work; they color code their ideas and use colors to make their work more inviting and enjoyable to look at.
