This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This project has been created in order to provide supplies for a special education K0/K1 classroom that has students with diagnosis of ASD. Items in this project such as weighted turtles, sensory lights, fidget toys, light table manipulatives will allow students to fulfill their sensory needs while being present in the classroom. Other materials like classroom supplies, printer, cleaning supplies, and essential oils allow for a healthy, safe, and organized classroom.
These materials will allow our students to increase independence and learn important self help and readiness skills that are necessary for their future learning and life within our school.
We as teachers, wouldn't be able to do the work we do in our classrooms without the support of generous donors like you.
