This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My students this year need general classroom supplies to make their learning experience more fun and interactive!
My students love reading, writing and math! They are very inquisitive and enjoy learning about various subjects in depth. They are extremely eager to challenge themselves in their learning; often going above and beyond what is expected.
My Project
These materials will make a huge impact on my students' lives. Having these supplies will help students understand and eventually excel in 5th grade math/literacy in a fun and interactive way. The fractions and graphing coordinate planes whiteboards will support students' learning of crucial math concepts that I will teach this year. This is important for their learning as they are the building blocks to higher order level math that will be introduced in middle school. The geometric shapes kit will enhance students' learning as they can now visualize through the use of 3D. Students will get to see how shapes are connected to each other and learn valuable skills associated with geometry.
