Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Our school is a small K-12 public magnet school located in an urban setting. We have a diverse student body. A large percentage of students are on free or reduced lunch. In my classes, I have English language learners (ELL), students who receive special education services, and gifted learners.
My students are creative, curious, motivated, full of energy, and deserve to have access to all the materials necessary to be successful.
My goal is to ensure that my students have all the tools that they need in order to be successful in school.
My Project
My students need the basic supplies to motivate, to help them stay on task and create projects, such as brochures, posters, etc.
My students work extremely hard in school.
Many cannot afford the basic necessities such as pencils. Some students also need an extra boost of motivation and these basic but fun school supplies will help to engage and motivate them to reach their potential. Please help my students with being prepared and ready to learn everyday. Your contribution will excite them and also give them what they need to be able to function and complete the requirements of school.
