This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students come from various backgrounds and are from low income families. My students all have various levels of proficiency in math. The majority of my students are multi-sensory learners. They learn best when they have a learning environment that is suitable to their learning needs.
My students need classroom supplies to help them learn.
The majority of the students do not have supplies to help them when completing assignments or projects in the classroom. We are low on supplies and would benefit from new supplies to have a successful remainder of the school year.
My Project
Our classroom needs supplies to finish off the year with students learning and not worried about what supplies they do not have. It can be hard for some of my students to get new supplies this time of year. We have used most of the supplies purchased at the beginning of the year and now need some more to get us through the end of the year.
The cleaning supplies, pencils, paper, and glue will help my students learn new concepts in a learning environment that they want to come to every day.
Where they do not have to worry about what supplies we have and get to enjoy their learning experience.
