My Students

My students are on the Autism Spectrum. They benefit from concrete objects. They benefit from interacting with their work and other students learning to take turns and social skills.

The students have limited communication skills.

They love to listen to music. The students love to try and sing the words of the songs they know.

My students also have a deficit in social skills. They need help taking turns and sharing materials. They need prompts to initiate questions and greetings.

My Project

These items will help present learning in a much better way. The easel can help students be more hands on with their work. It will also help students write on it as they practice.

The cash register will help my students learn shopping skills and money skills.

They cash register can help with math skills by collecting items, adding them to together, following a shopping list, ringing them up like a real store, counting money, exchanging money, and collecting change.

These items will help students learn in a new way. It will help prepare my students for the real world.
