Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I can best describe my students as a low income, high Hispanic population. My students have gone from at-home learning and the comfort of what is provided at home to learning in the more firm environment of a classroom.
My Project
Typically, classroom supplies are funded by some part of the school funding but due to constraints these are supplies that are needed and would come out of my pocket and paycheck.
Markers, colored pencils, and sticky notes are basic things that we use every week in order to be successful.
These things help the classroom run smoothly, keep students engaged in learning, and are going to be utilized every day. These are things that are consumable and our students do not have the money at home to bring these supplies to utilize in our classroom.
