Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
There is ALWAYS a need for pencils in my class and good quality markers. My students use these almost constantly for class projects and daily assignments. There is also a high demand for good quality scissors that are durable and sharp. These can be used by all of my classes.
My forensic science students are also in need of grid paper and protractors for when they begin their Crime Scene Sketches, where they take measurements of a room they have access to and draw a mock crime scene sketch to scale to represent it.
They use the protractors to help them create accurate lines and angles on their crime scene sketches and the grid paper is the medium where they can grow familiar with drawing to scale.
