My Students
My students are hardworking individuals. Lack of funding for teachers often leaves us purchasing resources and supplies in order to give these hardworking students all that they need in order to succeed and keep their momentum going. When I look around my classroom at the beginning of every year, I think to myself, "there is so much that we can use to optimize our learning and time together!"
The more students write, the more practice they have honing in their skills as authors.
The magnetic anchor chart will allow me to have, at the ready, access to visual aids that will guide the children towards meeting their learning target(s) for the lesson. The pencil grips allow for individuals to use them for increasing their writing stamina. The glue sticks are something that students will use on a daily basis, and we always run out. Privacy folders allow students to have increased focus on the task at hand.
My Project
These materials include a wide array of supplies that will enable my students to complete their work efficiently and in a way that best suits their individual learning styles. Some of the supplies also enable me, as their teacher, to have anchor charts organized and ready at hand, to guide their daily learning targets.
Once students have been taught how to use these supplies, they then become self-helpers and can access these at any time, in order to allow them to give their best work and effort.
Teachers and students often encounter items and supplies that they wish they could get their hands on in order to complete their work more efficiently. However, schools are very limited with any funds to give teachers and students in order to be able to purchase these items.
