This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

These items are meant to help create a well-stocked and engaging social studies classroom for my incoming freshmen! Our social studies classroom needs basic supplies such as pencils and folders, as well as highlighters and coloring materials for more hands-on activities.

Students are not always able to come to school with the necessary supplies which impacts their ability to participate in activities and with their peers.

As a first-year teacher, my goal is to create an inviting and interactive environment where students can engage not only with our historical texts but with each other. With your help and these supplies, we can make their school experience more engaging and set them up for success!
