My Students

We are a K-12 charter school in a high poverty area of Utah. We have 40 percent of our students on free or reduced lunches. These obstacles don't stop my students from excelling and learning with a passion. In fact, we test as one of the top schools in the state on standardized tests.

My students come into my classroom excited to learn and grow each day.

We work together to cultivate a love of learning in every single student.

My Project

We need a couple of Chromebook laptop computers to make our class time more efficient. We use computers for many things right in our classroom. Students take Accelerated Reader tests on each book they complete, and classroom computers allow these to be taken a different times throughout the day when the students have spare time.

Because every student works at a different pace, these portable laptop computers will also allow students to do activities for early finishers on the computer right at their desks quietly, with the use of headphones.

The Google management licenses ensure the computers are appropriate for student use.
