This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
All of my students are English language learners and hands on learning is really important to their development in early skills in both reading and math. These storage solution, cubbies and book center, will allow for all of my students to have access to math materials such as bear counters and linker cubes to use during math time to help them with their number sense. The big book storage will allow them easy access to big books and a way to display them and to be able to retell the stories to me and their other classmates, building their vocabulary and their English language development.
