Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My school is located in Concord, California in a low-income community. Students come from diverse backgrounds and cultures and all bring unique aspects to the school. A majority of the students are English language learners. About 90% of the students who attend this school receive free or reduced-price lunch.
My Project
This project will help not only keep my students organized but also our classroom. My classroom does not have a lot of storage so having extra bins to keep supplies in is important. My students' desks do not have any storage connected to them, so the book bins are so helpful to help keep my students organized.
With these supplies, my students can be successful learners.
Being back in the classroom in over a year in a half my students are so eager to learn. By donating to this project my class will have all the necessary organizational tools for my students to be successful.
