Help me give my students classroom furniture that will make them eager to be in the classroom and feel like they have a special spot where they can learn.

My Students
I teach at a Title I school in San Diego and have the opportunity of teaching a very diverse group of students. We have grown together, learned together, struggled together, persevered together, laughed together, and yes, even cried together.
I want my students to know that I not only see their differences and needs, but understand and accept them as well.
In our class, we spend a lot of time on social emotional learning and becoming compassionate students that can work together. We are constantly exploring different careers and passions to try and figure out what we love. Whether my students choose college, trade school, or the military, I think that the subjects often pushed aside, like health and nutrition and science, are as equal as the others when it comes to having kids explore what they love in life. There is so much out there for them and their paths are bright!
My Project
Being in the same room every day for 6 hours all school year can really become boring. I want my classroom to be an inviting environment where they feel at home.
I want my students to walk into my classroom and see an inviting, warm, and colorful environment.
It is only the start of what makes a student want to be at school but I think when a student likes their classroom and the resources in it they want to come back and that is a HUGE step in getting a student to be successful.
With just a few items, I will be able to make the walls more colorful, give them a few unique seating options, have resources that will help them learn, and even spray paint a few items in the classroom and bring them back to life. A quick classroom spruce up!
Stools, bungee chairs, and pillows will be used as seating options and the spray paint and glue gun will enable me to bring the frame of our couch back to life.
