Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Classroom snacks and a rewards system to use as positive reinforcement for students in a title 1 public school in NYC.
This will be used in a Self Contained class where students with disabilities such as autism, will benefit from a reward system that will encourage good behavior and better academic achievement through positive reinforcement.
I work in an Equity Focused Title 1 Public Middle School in NYC and resources can be hard to come by. These resources help our students to learn and stay motivated.
The students will also benefit from a mechanical keyboard - which is more responsive and helps them to type, which will be on a charging mat so they can type for longer.
