Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am requesting snacks such as goldfish, fruit snacks, potato chips, and candy to give my students when they are hungry throughout the day.
The majority of my students come to school without a snack.
Over the last few years, I have asked for parent volunteers to donate a snack for these kids. Over the years, I have had some issues with parents being able to donate snacks. In order for students to succeed in school, they need the essentials: food, water, and shelter. I would love to have snacks on hand in the OT room so that students can come get snacks when they are hungry.
