Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
All children learn best when they have full stomachs. Our students attend inclusive Early Childhood classrooms at a Title 1 school. Many of our students come to us from underserved and marginalized communities.
In our classroom, we focus on keeping a drawer full of a variety of snacks so that all students have access to food and juice when hungry.
As we have students that attend an AM session and students that attend a PM session, the requested snacks, including the goldfish, cheezits, fruit bars, granola bars, popcorn, juice, fig bars, and variety pack will provide snacks appropriate for all times of the day. A variety of snack choices will help our pickier eaters find something they like and provide opportunities to try new foods.
Please help us provide snacks to the children in our classroom, and help them stay focused and ready to learn!
